Organization roles, invitations, and CLI sign-in approval.
An organization owns apps, and people belong to organizations.
Roles
| Role | Can |

Rename an organization
Select the organization from the organization menu, then choose Rename organization on its app list page. Enter the name and choose Save name. Owners and admins can rename it; members cannot. The dashboard URL follows the new name. If the slug is already used by another organization or one of its active redirects, Carillon adds a short suffix. Your organization can reuse its own previous slug without a suffix.
Previous URLs redirect to the current organization for 15 days, including app subpages. After that, the old slug can be reused. The organization ID, app IDs and API keys do not change; API, CLI and mobile SDK integrations continue to work.
Invitations
Create an account with your name, email and password. A workspace is created automatically, and you become its owner.
Use an invitation to join an existing organization. Accepting an invitation does not create an additional workspace.
An invitation is a link, sent by email. Opening it either creates the account and joins the organization, or, if that address already has an account, joins the existing one once signed in.

Approving a terminal
carillon login opens /device in your browser and asks you to approve a code.
The terminal that showed that code gets access to your account, with everything the dashboard can do. Approve it only if that terminal is yours. Codes live ten minutes and work once.
