What changes on October 1, 2026
OneSignal is introducing a 1,000 monthly active user limit per organization for mobile push and in-app messaging on its Free plan. It applies to new customers from September 1 and existing customers from October 1. OneSignal continues to offer free and paid plans.

Carillon sends iOS notifications through APNs and Android notifications through FCM. Your app registers devices with a Swift, Kotlin or React Native SDK. Your backend sends through the REST API; the dashboard shows what happened next.
Each delivery has a trace: queuing, attempts, provider responses and opens reported by the app. A provider accepting a push does not prove the phone displayed it. The trace keeps that distinction visible.

The docs include request examples, SDK setup and Markdown for coding agents. Connect the hosted MCP to inspect your apps, manage setup and check a test notification. OAuth lets you sign in through the browser; provider credentials and device permissions still need your involvement.

Carillon is published by Exostack in France and hosts its service on Scaleway in Europe. Apple and Google still receive the tokens and payloads needed to deliver notifications. European hosting does not change that last step.

Carillon focuses on mobile push: device registration, audience filters, scheduling through the API and delivery traces. If your workflow depends on OneSignal Journeys, in-app messaging, email, SMS or web push, plan how those features will be handled. Carillon is not a replacement for that whole suite.

Above 5,000 monthly reachable devices, pricing is €9/month plus €2.50 per 1,000 additional devices, prorated. Prices exclude tax.
Importing tokens alone does not count toward usage. Carillon counts qualifying devices, not every person who opens your app. Activity on separate apps counts separately.

Export eligible OneSignal subscriptions, convert the CSV and import it into Carillon. Add the SDK in an app update. Confirm each device’s registration and OneSignal opt-out before handing its sends to Carillon; older versions stay on OneSignal during the transition.
You can repeat imports. Existing tokens are skipped, preserving SDK updates. Imports do not synchronize later opt-outs, and the same push sent through both services is not deduplicated across providers.
